Morning at the Museum
It was freezing outside yesterday so Mommy decided it would be fun to go to the Children's Museum. I guess everyone else did too because it was packed in there! Luckily I had my friend Sophie there to play with! I love buses right now, so I jumped at the opportunity to drive one! Here I am concentrating very hard on what buttons I need to push to make the bus go.
They had this cool screen there. Wherever you touched the screen color appeared. I had fun making designs on it.

More Christmas Fun
After Mima and Papa's, we drove to New Jersey to spend the day with Grandma and Papa. I couldn't believe that I got open more presents there! Here I am with one of my favorites...a ride on fire engine. It makes a lot of noise!! I am not sure Mommy and Daddy like that part of it though!
I not only got great toys, but I got some really nice clothes too! Here I am trying on my new vest and hood. Don't I look good?

Opening Presents
Christmas this year was so much better than last year! I love getting presents! Here I am on Christmas Eve getting my Elmo ABC doll. I love cuddling with him!
I love the birthday cake that I got. It is so much fun cutting up the pieces and giving it to everyone.
On Christmas morning I woke up and we went downstairs. I couldn't believe my eyes...there was a whole kitchen just for me. Here I am checking out my new toy!
Visiting Santa
I went to see Santa today, but it didn't end up the way Mommy and Daddy had planned. I guess I went last year, but I don't remember because if I did I would not have walked into the doors of Bloomingdale's! However, the Sesame Street display caught my eye and kept me occupied.
The Abbie Cadabie was bigger than I was!!

Snow Day
As you might already know, we had a big snowstorm last night. As soon as I woke up, I started yelling "Sno, sno"! Mommy and Daddy were wondering how I knew what snow was. I am 20 months old...I know things! Since I was so excited, Mommy and Daddy decided to take me out to experience it firsthand. Here I am with Mommy and Daddy in front of the Museum of Natural History.
As soon as they put me down, I realized that I did not like the snow as much as I would have thought. I immediately starting crying and wanted Daddy to pick me up.
They tried everything to get me walk in the snow. They even used my love of dogs to lure me to the ground. As soon as I realized that the dog was not coming over to me, I wanted up again!
Courtside
Today we went to Grandma and Papa's house before we went to see a basketball game. Little did I know what I would be able to practice my engineering skills on the train around the Christmas tree. Here I am making the train go as fast as possible around the track!
Once we got to the game I was excited to find out that I would get to sit in my very own seat. I felt like such a big girl!
However, I decided to take the opportunity to try out many more chairs to make sure there wasn't a better one out there.

Daddy got me a special treat...chocolate ice cream! In the spirit of the holiday season, I decided to share my ice cream with everyone there including Grandma, Granny and Aunt Jen!
They played a lot of music at the game and I had a blast dancing with Papa!
Love of Cleaning
Mommy loves that I have found a love for cleaning. I usually like the clean the coffee table or the floor with my wipes, but I have recently found a love of cleaning my knees, toes and face. On this particular day I spent a good ten minutes cleaning my toes and knees. I think Mommy liked that I found something to occupy my time with!

Picking out a Tree
Mommy and Daddy told me that we were going to get a Christmas tree. They said that we had one last year, but I don't really remember it. Once we got there, I had a very important job. I got to smell the trees to make sure that we got a good one. This one smells pretty good!
Here is our tree all wrapped up. Again, Mommy wanted a posed picture with the tree and again I did not give the camera a smile.
We finally got the tree home. Daddy carried it home and I thought it was really funny to watch him carry such a big thing home. I laughed the whole way home...I don't think Daddy appreciated that too much.

Behind the Wheel
I felt so grown up at Mima and Papa's. I got to drive the car! Well...not actually drive the car because it was in the garage and the key was not in the ignition, but I still felt very grown up sitting behind the wheel.
After a few minutes Auntie and Papa joined me in the car and we took my first picture as a driver! I can't wait until I am sixteen and get to really drive a car!

What a View
It's Thanksgiving and we went down to Papa's museum to watch the parade because he has a great view from his office. At first all I really cared about was my balloon and my snacks!
I soon became interested when all of those balloons we saw the day before were coming down Central Park West!
I got really excited when I saw Abbie Cadabie! Boy those balloons get big when all of the air is in them!
Watching the Balloons
The Thanksgiving Day Parade starts right near our apartment and the balloons get blown up the day before. Mommy and Daddy thought it would be great to take me to see them. Little did they know that I was more interested in the water fountain near the museum. How could they not know this? I love water!
So I finally decided it would be a good idea to actually go look at the balloons. I saw one balloon that I recognized...Kermit! I kept saying "frog" and trying to talk to him, but he didn't respond.
