Out in the Snow

It has been snowing for two days now and we have gotten a lot of snow. Mommy thought it would be fun to go play in the snow since I got my new snow pants. I wasn't so sure about the snow. I like looking at it, but we all know what happened the last time Mommy and Daddy took me in the snow. Here I am waiting for the elevator. I guess this isn't so bad. I get to stand on the pavement and just my foot in the snow when I want to.
Okay, this is a bit much! Mommy just put me down in the snow and expected me to play. That lasted about five seconds then I wanted Mommy to pick me up.
It was fun looking up at the snow...except when they hit me in the eye!
When we got home, Mommy wanted me to take off my snow pants, but I liked them so much I wanted to keep them on!

Train Park

Yesterday Mommy and Daddy took me to the train park. It was pretty cold out and there was snow all over so we were the only ones there. That was okay with me...that just meant I didn't have to wait in line to go down the slide! While we were there I decided it would be fun to make a snowman. I rolled this snowball all by myself! You can understand why I didn't finish the snowman.
I also took the opportunity to be the one to drive the train! That was so much fun! Now I have driven a bus, car, firetruck and a train! Maybe when I go to Florida I will ask the pilot to let me try my hand at flying the plane!!

Card Decorating

This afternoon I got to create valentines for all of my friends and family. Mommy got me sticker hearts and some even had glitter on them. It was a lot of work to decorate all of the cards. I worked very hard to give them all of them my personal touch!
After I was finished I thought it would be fun to play with the sticker container. Hey, don't I deserve some fun after all of that work?

Sesame Street Live

Mommy had such a treat in store for me today. I got to go see Sesame Street Live!! Do you know what means?? I got to see all of my favorite characters especially Elmo!! Here I am before the show.I got to go with my best friend Sophie! We had such a great time together and made our own fun while we were waiting for the show to start!
Finally the show started and Elmo and Big Bird came out to get things going. I was so excited that I could barely contain myself. Is this really happening??
This is so much better than watching Elmo on TV. I loved watching all of the monsters sing and dance. I even tried to join in on the dancing.
The snow must have kept a lot of the people away because after intermission we were able to move down and get better seats. Look at how close we were able to get! I am so happy that I got to see the show!

Weekend Playdate

Mommy and I went to visit her friend Katie this weekend. While she was visiting with her, I got to play with Tyler. The last time we saw each other we were both so much younger. This time we had a great time playing. Tyler has a great playroom with so many cool toys. Here I am exploring all of the toys and finding out which one was my favorite. This toy reminded me so much of the table I used to have. Where did that go anyway? I loved playing with that. Maybe Mommy will bring it back so that I can play with it again!
Tyler had this great wagon to play with. At first I just sat in it and didn't go anywhere.
Then Tyler came by and pushed me across the room. Boy that was fun! After I was done, we switched and I pushed him too! What a great afternoon! I can't wait to play with Tyler again!

Children's Museum

Mommy thought it would be nice to have a little Mommy and Emily time so she took me to the Children's Museum! Of course my first stop was the bus because I love driving the bus. Here I am looking out for people in the road and being sure to avoid them.I had driven the bus and now I wanted to drive the fire truck. I wouldn't let Mommy put the fire hat and jacket on, but I got the job done anyway.
Mommy showed me the sand and at first I was nervous to touch it, but then I decided it would be fun to shovel the sand. Although, I was careful not to get too much on me as you can see from this picture.
When we went to see Dora and Diego I had a very important job to do. I had to make sure that all of the sea turtles made it from the nest into the ocean. It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it.
This is my third slide of the day. I love trying all of the different slides they have here!
I even got the chance to run my own store. I really love fruit so was happy to be able to sell all of the delicious food I like to eat.

Painting Pottery

What a great day today! I got to paint my first piece of pottery. I guess Mommy took me here last year, but I was too young so she did all of the painting. This time I was able to do it all by myself! I could tell that Mommy was a little nervous letting me do it on my own, but she was a trooper...and I didn't even make that big of a mess! It is a lot of work to combine all of the colors to make it just right! I had to concentrate to do my best work! I love the way all of the colors look together!

What made it even better was that Sophie was there with me. Here we are creating our masterpieces!
This is the finished product. Well not quite finished, Mommy said that they have to put it in something called a kiln to set. I can't wait to see what it is going to look like when Mommy and I go to pick it up!
