What a View
It's Thanksgiving and we went down to Papa's museum to watch the parade because he has a great view from his office. At first all I really cared about was my balloon and my snacks!
I soon became interested when all of those balloons we saw the day before were coming down Central Park West!
I got really excited when I saw Abbie Cadabie! Boy those balloons get big when all of the air is in them!
Watching the Balloons
The Thanksgiving Day Parade starts right near our apartment and the balloons get blown up the day before. Mommy and Daddy thought it would be great to take me to see them. Little did they know that I was more interested in the water fountain near the museum. How could they not know this? I love water!
So I finally decided it would be a good idea to actually go look at the balloons. I saw one balloon that I recognized...Kermit! I kept saying "frog" and trying to talk to him, but he didn't respond.

Last Day on the Beach
Today was the last day on the beach. Luckily it was another beautiful day. I took full advantage of the weather and played in the water in my chair. The waves were not as big today and I didn't have to worry about loosing my shovel.
At lunch I hit the jackpot. Since I would not eat the macaroni and cheese that Mommy ordered for me, I got to eat ice cream instead. Boy did I luck out in this deal! By the way, Papa ate my macaroni and cheese and his lunch...he must have been hungry!
Let the Sun Shine!
Well the sun finally made an appearance! It was such a beautiful day and for once we weren't the only people at the beach! The umbrella that Mommy and Daddy got for me actually got some use today! Since I was sick last week and did not eat much, I have taken the opportunity this week to catch up. Having food in my mouth was a pretty familiar scene the past few days!
Here I am trying to figure out how I am going to get in the water without touching any sand.

Windy Day on the Beach
Well the weatherpeople down here don't really know what they are talking about. They said that the sun was supposed to come out today so Papa, Mima, Mommy and Daddy and I went to the beach. Again, we were the only ones there, but we thought we were finally going to be able to catch some rays. Boy were we wrong. However, that didn't spoil my fun (at least in the beginning).
Papa and I took a nice walk on the beach. No, you are not seeing things, those are my feet touching the sand. That was the only time that happened today.
The fun started to wear out when the wind started to blow. Mima and Papa wanted to leave, but Mommy and Daddy were convinced that the sun was going to come out and they were going to be able to get a tan. I bundled up with Mima in order to stay warm!
Poolside
I was so happy when Mommy and Daddy told me we were going to go to the pool again today. I was not so happy when they decided to take me to the baby pool. Who do they think I am? I have been taking swim lessons since I was five months old. I can handle the big pool.
I was able to make my escape to the big pool. Unfortunately Mommy and Daddy caught up with me but the good news was that Daddy took me in the pool!

Outlet Shopping
Hurricane Ida was downgraded to a Tropical Storm but that didn't stop the clouds today so Mommy and Daddy decided it would be a good day to go to the outlets. Since it was windy, I was worried that Mommy and Daddy did not pack me enough clothes so I thought I would get a hat for the trip. Do you think it is too much?
Mommy and Daddy decided that the hat was not necessary for the Florida weather so we left it in the store. Oh well...I got over it once I saw the water fountain.
Daddy to the Rescue
I am finally in Florida! Mommy and Daddy have been talking about it for awhile but I really did not remember the last time I was here. Even though it wasn't the best beach day (thanks to Hurricane Ida), we still went to the beach. We were the only ones there but Mommy and Daddy said that we were going to have a good time! They set up my tent and gave me my beach toys...as you can see, but they forgot one important thing...
I HATE the sand! Once I realized that I couldn't leave my blanket without touching that stuff I was not a happy girl.
