It's Halloween

Finally Halloween has arrived! I have been partying so much, I almost forgot that Halloween was today. I finally gave Mommy and Daddy a shot of me smiling. Today we went to Gemma's house for a Halloween party. Even though I was wearing a dress, it didn't stop me from riding on the bike!
Sophie and Narinn joined in on the fun, however, we were having difficulty deciding who was going to play with what. We figured it out and no feelings were hurt!

Mommy and Daddy tried to get a picture of me smiling, but one picture is enough for one day!

After the party we went to 69th Street for a Halloween block party. There were so many people there but I wanted to walk by myself.

Another Halloween Celebration

On Friday, Mommy took me to another Halloween party. This time it was at My Gym. Here I am showing off my costume. I even kept the wings and headband on for Mommy so that she could get a good shot of them! I was so excited when Sophie got there! This meant that we could get into trouble together. Here we are plotting our next move on the parachute.
At the end of the party Miss Tammy gave a pumpkin puppet show. By the way, notice how at this point in the party both my wings and headband have disappeared!

By far the best part of the whole party was when I got to meet Elmo and Cookie Monster. They were actually on the trampoline with me. I was surprised at how short they were. They were the same size as me! But I didn't care because I got to hang out with my idols!
On the way out I got a balloon too! What a great party. I can't believe I still have one more Halloween celebration to attend! I am going to be partied out!

Full of Surprises

I got quite the surprise this morning. Instead of eating breakfast in my highchair, Mommy put me in a booster seat. It was a little different, but now I feel like such a big kid. I actually get to eat at the table. As you can see I was taking to the transition very nicely! The surprises kept coming today. On our way back from art class Mommy stopped and got me some rain boots. As soon as we got home I wanted to try them on. I love these boots!
I am sure that these boots must give me some magical power. Here I am seeing if the boots will let me fly off of the coffee table. Don't worry, Mommy was right there to stop my fun. Maybe the next time she turns around I will try again!

Early Halloween Playgroup

Now I know it isn't really Halloween yet, but in playgroup it was! All of my friends and I dressed up and we had a Halloween party complete with cookies, scary spaghetti to play with and goodie bags. Thank you Sara! The mommies decided it would be fun to line us up on the couch and take millions of pictures of us. They had to bribe us with food to keep us sitting sit. My food of choice was crackers. Here we are all lined up minus Enzo and Gemma. There was Sophie the strawberry, me the princess. Narinn dressed up as Frankenstein. Leo was Max from Where the Wild Things Are and Teddy was Moosie. If I do say so myself, we are a good looking group!
After awhile I started getting antsy and wanted off the couch. However, Mommy gave me another cracker and I stayed a little while longer.

After the photo shoot was over we decided it would be fun to play in the bathroom. I know it is weird but we thought it was great!
Sophie and I also thought it would be fun to bang on the radiator. What a fun day!

Playgroup Fun

What a great way to start off playgroup...looking at the view of Broadway from 18 floors up! Those cars sure do look small from way up here!Check Spelling Sophie and I did a good job of making a mess in Narinn's room. We couldn't help it...we were having such a good time with all of the books and toys. Don't worry, we helped the mommies clean up when it was time to leave.
Gemma decided to get into the mess making action with Sophie and I.

Leo and Sophie looked like they were having such a good time in Narinn's crib, that I decided to join them. It is amazing how much more fun someone else's crib is than your own. Here Sophie and I are posing for the camera.
Sophie didn't want to be in the crib anymore, so Leo and I had the whole crib to ourselves! We decided to test out the bounciness of it. Boy, jumping on the bed it fun!

Wedding Day!

The big day had finally arrived! Mommy put on my dress and it was not as uncomfortable as I thought it was going be! I actually think I look pretty cute! Here I am with Grandpa! We had a good time playing while Mommy was getting ready!
Aunt Jen looked so pretty and I loved watching her get her pictures taken. However, when it was my turn to get my pictures taken with her, I did not want to stay still. There was just so much to do and look at! I don't think that the photographer liked it very much.
I had to practice being a flower girl so I took my toy and pretended it was a basket.
Mommy and Daddy were so happy that I actually walked down the aisle with them! Everyone was watching me and I loved it! I hammed it up for their cameras!
What a long day! As soon as my job was done, I fell asleep on Papa's shoulder. Apparently everyone thought it was cute, I was just so tired!
Congratulations Aunt Jen and Uncle George!!

My First Haircut

Mommy decided that I needed a haircut before Aunt Jen's wedding. I didn't want one and Daddy didn't think I needed it, but Mommy won out! I guess the place couldn't be too bad if you can watch Elmo while getting your haircut!Boy, was I wrong. I definitely did not like getting my haircut. Here Daddy is trying to calm me down, but it wasn't working.

This was not the experience that I thought it was going to be.

Finally it is over and I guess I am happy that I did it. Now I can see without my hair in my face!

Afternoon at the Museum

Mommy took me to the Museum of Natural History today. What a fun place it is! Sophie and I were impressed by the polar bear. At first I was scared, but Mommy told me it was not real. Then Sophie and I felt comfortable enough to go behind the rail to say hi! We had such a good time with the polar bears, we decided to do the same thing at the next exhibit.
Don't worry about me, I am fine. I know I am close to those sharks and turtles, but they are not real. I know they look real, but I was not in any danger.
Our mommies would not let us climb up the stairs. I don't know why...that was the best part of the whole museum. However, Sophie and I found a way around that. They never said that we couldn't play while sitting on stairs. Boy, we are so smart!
Mommy also told me that I could sit on the stairs. She didn't know it at the time, but I was planning my next escape so I could go ahead and climb the stairs again!

Feel the Love

Sophie and I had a great friend moment today at playgroup. What is better than a big hug between friends?? Here Leo, Narinn and I are trying to figure out how we can all be on the bike at the same time. We didn't quite find out how to do it and our Mommies told us that we had to take turns.
Sophie, Narinn and I thought it would be fun to throw some toys out the window. Too bad there was a screen and window guard in the way.
Sophie and I decided that instead of our usual rocking chair pose, we would get a picture together in Gemma's cart. Can you believe we both fit in it?
