Mommy and Daddy took me to the Farmer's Market this morning. Mommy said that she wanted to get some basil to make pesto sauce. I don't really know what that is, but I told Mommy that I wanted to help. First I helped Mommy pick out the basil. Here I am smelling it to make sure it was okay.
Once we got home we had to wash it to make sure it was nice and clean. Here I am helping to spin the basil dry. What a cool contraption!
The next step was putting all of the basil in the food processor. Don't worry I wasn't near it when it was on! Mommy added the cheese and oil while I watched.
Finally it was done and it was time to taste it. Unfortunately, I didn't like it too much.
I think I will stick with my crackers. As you can see they make me very happy!
