What a great day today! I got to paint my first piece of pottery. I guess Mommy took me here last year, but I was too young so she did all of the painting. This time I was able to do it all by myself! I could tell that Mommy was a little nervous letting me do it on my own, but she was a trooper...and I didn't even make that big of a mess!
It is a lot of work to combine all of the colors to make it just right! I had to concentrate to do my best work! I love the way all of the colors look together!
What made it even better was that Sophie was there with me. Here we are creating our masterpieces!
This is the finished product. Well not quite finished, Mommy said that they have to put it in something called a kiln to set. I can't wait to see what it is going to look like when Mommy and I go to pick it up!
